Responsibilities

• Serve food to residents according to individual diets and preferences, observing time limits for meal serving and maintaining foods at proper serving temperature.
• Assist cooks in cleaning and preparing uncooked food such as salads, vegetables, and fruits; follow basic instructions in preparing simple foods such as breakfast items, basic desserts, and garnishes.
• Clear plates and trays, load and operate dishwasher, and clean pots, pans, and cooking utensils according to procedure.
