Job Summary:

Performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to facilitate the filing, storage, reporting, retrieval and distribution of patient radiology records for the medical imaging department. Works on routine assignments within defined parameters, established guidelines and precedents.


Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

    • Essential Functions:

  • Maintains the medical imaging department database using Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Serves as records custodian for the department. Greets customers, answers telephones, schedules appointments and examinations, enters orders, processes patient paperwork and maintains detailed records.
