Desktop Support Specialist - Entry Level

Our Client, a Public University company, is looking for a Desktop Support Specialist - Entry Level for their Ann Arbor, MI location.

 

Responsibilities:

• Survey up to 700 client  Medicine telecommunications rooms to locate uninstalled, depreciated network and UPS equipment.


• Erase the configuration and operating system code from the equipment.


• Training and a laptop will be provided. Prepare the necessary client  Property Disposition forms.


• Coordinate and supervise client Moving & Trucking for equipment pickup and transportation to client Property Disposition.


• Identifying other unapproved items stored in telecommunications rooms to facilitate their removal or disposal.


• Other non-technical tasks pertaining to the telecommunications rooms
