Deskside Support Engineer - Cape Town

SUMMARY:
Gijima Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting on behalf of a client for two Deskside Support Engineer positions on a contract basis based in Cape Town.
The roles are required to start immediately and will be full-time, on-site in Bellville. The contract end date is 28 February 2027.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements

• IT qualification/background (A+, N+)
• 2 - 4 years’ experience in an IT user support role within a professional services environment
• Must have working knowledge of Desktop/laptop hardware, multifunction printers, networking
• Must be able to work afterhours when required
• Knowledge of and experience in supporting Information sources and trading systems highly advantageous.
• A comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure technology including LAN, WAN, hardware, networks (data & voice), operating systems, remote connectivity, platforms and configurations. ...
