Designer/Drafter - Component Product Definition

Overview

As a member of the Component Product Definition – Transmission Team, you will support engineering functional groups in drafting, CAD modelling and design support for turbine engine components.

Responsibilities

• Produce engineering drawings, 3‑D models and specifications using a computer‑aided design (CAD) system, specifically CATIA V5/V6 or equivalent.
• Provide technical support throughout the detail design phase.
• Ensure that all drawings, 3‑D models and documents meet established requirements.
• Apply a thorough knowledge of mechanical drawing, engineering mathematics, geometric tolerances, manufacturing methods, physics and strength of materials.
• Assist in guiding, teaching and revising work performed by other employees and support other organizations.
