**Job Description**
Responsible for independently leading the design release and technical management of Refrigerant Plumbing & Hardware components and systems for vehicle programs, ensuring alignment with product intent, compliance with engineering requirements, release quality, manufacturability, cost, and program timing. This role requires strong technical expertise in the area, independent judgment to resolve non-standard problems, and the ability to coordinate decisions across cross-functional teams without direct authority.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead the design release of refrigerant plumbing & hardware components through GPDS/ECM/ECR, ensuring solutions meet functional, packaging, manufacturing, quality, cost, and service requirements.
+ Review, update, and confirm program intent for new and carryover parts, including correct usage by model, series, options, restrictions, quantities, LH/RH, KCDS, torque, mass, and part ownership.
