Design Manager

Responsibilities Manage project assignments to team members with the Design Director/s
Overseeing all design elements, from the conception to final delivery
Maintaining high standards of quality and making sure only the best work is released to the employer or client
Research concepts and materials to support the design team on technical issues influencing concept development.
Knowledge of material & colour scheme specifications requirement
Ensuring structural drawings and designs are produced on time, to a high quality, and are easy to decipher
Decide the most appropriate materials for the design within the budget restriction
Coordinate with QS and Project Managers
Work within timely schedules to coordinate the completion of tasks through to final project completion
Ensure team's final result is delivered adhering to company's standards
Work with Projects team to develop a design solution
