Job overview

The post holder will provide specialist nursing leadership and clinical expertise within the Urology Outpatient Service, delivering safe, effective and compassionate care to patients undergoing urological assessment, treatment and follow-up.

Working autonomously within the multidisciplinary team, they will manage a specialist caseload, support nurse-led clinics and clinical pathways, and provide advanced nursing care. The post holder will support the Sister/Charge Nurse in the day-to-day running of the service, provide leadership to the nursing team, and contribute to quality improvement, clinical governance, education and service development.

The post holder will act as a role model, promoting high standards of urology nursing practice, patient-centred care and continuous improvement.
