Overview
Electrical Maintenance Technician Job activities include: installation, maintenance, testing, calibration and commissioning of electrical systems and components. Electrical Maintenance Technicians will work on low, medium and high voltage systems to ensure electrical maintenance is completed safely, on schedule and within equipment manufacturer’s recommendations. Duties include:
1. Installation, maintenance, testing, calibration and commissioning of electrical systems and components.
2. Act as “Employee in Charge” on some jobs, ensuring that jobs are efficiently planned and safely completed.
3. Perform other assignments as required. Some supervision required.
4. Read and interpret one line drawing, schematics drawings and other service documents, including manufacturer’s instructions and manuals.
5. Responsible for maintaining personal support equipment, PPE, hand tools and test equipment.
