DC Safety Specialist

The Safety Specialist, reporting to Sr. Mgr. EHS & Compliance, works with DC leadership, and employees to support and enforce policies that protect employees and keep the work environment safe and compliant. The DC Safety Specialist conducts inspections, supports accident investigations, owns, and facilitates safety training, and helps define the safety culture of the organization. Safety Specialists also ensure that safety-related training records, accident reports and other documents are completed and filed appropriately. The successful candidate will be a driven, solutions based, self-starter. They will be the driving force to ensure the facility is maintained in accordance with OSHA requirements, as well as supporting and enforcing policies that ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
