£20.74 per hour + Benefits 08:00 - 16.00 Monday to Friday. As a Day Fitter at Arriva, you will be responsible for the routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of our fleet of buses to ensure their safe and reliable operation throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance checks and inspections on buses, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, electrical systems, and bodywork.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct roadside assistance and recovery when required, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
• Carry out routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.
• Identify and report any major defects or persistent issues to the workshop supervisor.
