Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Data Center Technician II, to support data center and critical infrastructure projects across client environments. This individual will be responsible for executing installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure while operating with moderate independence.
This role will support project delivery, mentor junior technicians, and partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure successful execution. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in data center environments, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced, field-based settings.
Responsibilities include:
*Building conveyance support grid
*Installing conveyance (ladder rack, basket tray & fiber guide)
*Install, splice & terminate fiber
*Run conduit & max cell
*Install & anchor cabinets
*Grounding of cabinets & raceway
*Install rack PDUs
*Install koldloks & floor tiles - familiar with how floor tiles fit ...
