About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform standard Tier I procedures including wafer measurement.
- Perform preventative maintenance and wet cleans independently; assist senior engineers with corrective maintenance as needed.
- Disassemble, clean and rebuild kits as part of kit management quality.
- Learn and apply diagnostic techniques and use of documentation and test equipment with assistance from senior engineers.
- Diagnose and resolve basic technical problems.
- Strive to perform BKM’s, use knowledge management systems, and follow all IP guidelines.
- Represent Applied Materials to the customer; use good customer service skills while maintaining a professional demeanor. Respect the customer by keeping a neat and orderly work area and demonstrate a positive attitude in less than optimal situations.
- Comply with all safety procedures and consistently demonstrate safety as a value.
