About the Role

Pay Rate: $60/hr to $70/hr

Shift: Saturday & Sunday 8a-12a

Responsibilities:


  • Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure quality diagnostic CT images.

  • Perform daily quality control calibration checks on all equipment to ensure proper functioning before patient studies.

  • Administer radioactive material injections as per physician’s order following prescribed protocols.

  • Comply with department documentation policies, including filling in logs, manuals, charge documents, and reporting equipment issues.

  • Conduct quality control, quality assurance, and safety tests, adhering to radiation safety guidelines to comply with the ALARA principle.

  • Maintain, develop, and retrieve patient films and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation.

  • Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses one day prior to use.
