The Band 7 CT/MRI Operational Lead is a key role within the Diagnostic Imaging Service, responsible for the day-to-day operational management and coordination of CT and MRI services across multiple sites. This post ensures the effective delivery of a high-quality, safe, and efficient imaging service, supporting patient flow, service capacity, and performance against local and national diagnostic targets.

Working closely with clinical teams, modality leads, and wider operational management, the post holder will provide strong leadership to ensure timely access to imaging services and maintain optimal use of departmental resources. The role is central to managing operational pressures, supporting workforce coordination, and ensuring continuity of service delivery across CT and MRI.
