Position Overview

Credit Controller – fixed‑term role based in Eccles, Manchester, within our Finance Team.

Responsibilities

  • Collect outstanding debt and keep overdue balances to a minimum.
  • Reduce ledger value.
  • Resolve queries to ensure prompt payment.
  • Allocate cash payments.
  • Deliver an effective and efficient service to internal and external customers.
  • Manage your own ledger and accounts.
  • Provide query resolution, cash allocation and chase payments by phone and letter.
  • Prioritise workload, utilise time‑management skills to produce reports.
  • Meet critical deadlines in accordance with financial periods.
  • Support other Credit Controllers within the team when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar position within a finance department.
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external partners.
