The Role
The Ad-Hoc Crane Maintenance Mechanical Technician is responsible for carrying out the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of offshore crane mechanical systems, both on offshore platforms and in the onshore workshop. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting crane mechanical components offshore and performing disassembly, inspection, and reconditioning of crane parts in the onshore workshop. This position requires flexibility to alternate between offshore and onshore duties based on operational needs.
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
Offshore Crane Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and mechanical repairs on offshore cranes, winches, hoists, and related equipment to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on cranes, identifying faults in the hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, and taking corrective actions as necessary. <...
