Job Summary

: Counsellor - Grades K-120.886 FTE temporary contract, starting September 8, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to December 18, 2026, or return of the incumbent.Must have a Master's Degree recognized by the BC Teacher Regulation Branch in Counselling, Psychology in Counselling or Psychology. Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience at the K-12 level. Must have training and or experience in trauma informed practice.This is a District position, and 0.30 FTE of this position will support Kootenay Discovery School, 0.286 FTE will support Fernie Secondary School and 0.30 FTE will support Jaffray Elementary/Jr. Secondary School.
