Responsibilities

• Monitor news developments in the Philippines and its relations with the wider region and beyond, providing prompt, concise and accurate updates to guide editorial decisions
• Exercise sound judgment in identifying story ideas that are relevant, impactful and aligned with CNA's core objective of helping audiences Understand Asia
• Produce a steady stream of original, value-added stories that meet the highest editorial standards
• Cover a broad range of topics, including general, political, geopolitical, business, economic, technology and cultural news
• Create content for multiple platforms, including television, digital and radio
• Deliverables include live hits, daily news stories, feature packages, multipart series and long‑form content
• Collaborate with editors at CNA headquarters in Singapore to plan coverage for major events and key developments
