Corporate Counsel

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced corporate lawyer to join this public Company's dynamic legal team. The Counsel will be responsible for SEC filings and other public disclosures, securities laws matters, corporate governance, contract negotiation, strategic transactions, and rating agency matters. In addition, the Counsel will support aspects of the insurance regulatory function, including making filings on behalf of the Company's insurers.

Candidate Background:

• At least five to eight years of major law firm corporate and regulatory experience, ideally involving insurance company clients. Additional experience in the law department of a major financial institution is a plus.

• General corporate and securities law experience and understanding of the legal parameters and practices of corporate disclosure by public companies.
