Corporate Actuarial Head

Overview

Direct actuarial analytical team and activities of a department specific function or area (e.g., supervision of actuarial students and clerical staff). The Corporate Actuarial Head is a business leadership role responsible for managing the actuarial valuations teams that perform production and analysis work on the SAM, IFRS, Tax and profitability balance sheets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage actuarial teams (reserving, capital, pricing, reporting).
• Oversee the model development, reporting cycles, capital modelling, and analytics.
• Provide actuarial insights to the business and executives.
• Manage people, budgets, and operational efficiency.
• Drive strategy from an actuarial perspective.
• Ensure the organization meets business and performance objectives.
