About the Role

**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

To provide the nutritional needs for LakeWood Health Center by performing the following duties:

+ Preparing and serving of meals to Care Center Residents, Hospital and SLS.
+ Know basics of therapeutic diets to ensure proper following of nutrition care plan for resident and patients.
+ Washing dishes with dish machine, using meat slicer, coffee machine, steamer, grill, ovens and handling dishes, hot and cold food.
+ Follow standardized quantity food recipes
+ Ensure meal times are followed while working closely with aids, nurses and Dietitian.
+ Brainstorm ideas for possible solutions to problems pertaining to food service that may arise.
+ Abide to the Minnesota Department of Health safety standards and LakeWood’s Policies.
+ Stocking food items, documentation of food records, grocery items and temperatures.
+ Other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**
Must be at least 16 years of age
