Contracts Manager

Responsibilities

Within the Construction environment, you will be involved in buying materials, managing large projects, ensuring health and safety, and providing customer service. You will handle the delivery of around 400 developments across the UK, including brownfield sites and adaptive reuse projects.

• Manage and monitor Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) performance in compliance with legal obligations and the Company’s SHE Management system.
• Support tendering for subcontractors and suppliers, monitor performance and provide feedback to the Commercial department.
• Ensure adequate resources for effective site start and source them.
• Monitor construction programme performance to meet targets and on‑time completion; conduct progress chasing and provide dates through Sales/Build meetings.
• Control additional costs for non‑productive and pre‑lender expenditure; participate in cost control meetings.
