Continuous Improvement Manager

We are partnering with a local aerospace manufacturer in their search for a Continuous Improvement Manager.  Located in the Islip area, the ideal candidate will come with manufacturing project management experience and an understanding of financial analytics.



Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives
  
• Identify and implement cause and corrective action activities
  
• Develop training curriculum for Lean Manufacturing trainings
  
• Participate in work center audits
  

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  
• Bachelor’s Degree
  
• Six Sigma or Lean Certification required
  
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  
• Must be able to climb ladders, stand for long periods of time, and perform repetitive motions
