Location: Roseberry Park Hospital, Middlesbrough. The post is located at the Ivy/Clover/Kestrel ward, a low secure female learning disability ward.

Role Overview: This replacement post supports the low secure ward where inpatient forensic beds and clinical and managerial offices are co‑located. The consultant will be responsible for clinical care, statutory reporting, and participation in multidisciplinary meetings and tribunals.

Main duties

• Attend weekly MDT meetings, CPA (6‑monthly), formulation and risk‑management meetings.

• Provide clinical leadership, supported by a ward manager, clinical lead, occupational therapist, psychologist, social worker, pharmacist and a shared SAS/trust doctor (50% time).

• Serve as responsible clinician: write statutory reports, attend First Tier Tribunals, Hospital Manager Hearings, S117 and MAPPA meetings.
