Job Title Construction (QA) Inspector – Shemya Island, AK Work Location Shemya Island, AK Salary Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen and must pass a federal background review and drug screen Responsibilities Must have knowledge of airfield runway construction improvements and pavement resurfacing; detailed inspections must be made to ensure the required level of workmanship adhering to the contract, project plans and specifications. Perform and support a three‐phase inspection system. Provide daily QA reports to document all activities observed for each on‐site day in sufficient detail. Review and analyze construction contractor progress. Ensure safety requirements are met including EM 385‐1‐1 and OSHA requirements. Monitor submittals utilizing a submittal status log.
