Job Overview

Reporting to the Construction Manager, as the Construction Handyperson (6 month term), you will oversee on-site construction activities and assist in ensuring construction follows established design and quality. You also enforce compliance with health and safety regulations. 

This is a 6 month term position.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Working in a supporting role with the Site Superintendent overseeing the construction process for single family homes, duplexes and townhomes;
  • Completing a wide variety of hands on construction tasks and assisting in monitoring home production, quality control, and site issues.
  • Completing residential construction work such as: carpentry, drywall, paint, cleaning and site maintenance, and deficiency repairs.
