Hydroelectric Construction Quality Assurance Specialist

Duties

Perform the full range of quality assurance functions associated with assigned projects.

Responsible for a variety of hydroelectric construction projects associated with power generation, flood control, and facility operation and maintenance.

Serves as team leader of lower graded Construction Representatives assigned day-to-day responsibilities on a project level.

Performs bid-ability, constructability, operability, environmental, and sustainability reviews of more complex plans and specifications.

Determines practicability of more difficult projects, from a construction viewpoint, whether physical obstructions or other construction difficulties, has been anticipated.

Ensure potential delays are documented in contractor daily quality control (QC) reports and addressed in daily quality assurance (QA) reports.
