Summary This Construction Control Representative position is located in Facilities Management Service at the Leeds, MA location. Responsibilities Major Duties: Participates in design review conferences, reviews preliminary plans and specifications prior to advertisement for practicability, anticipated physical obstructions and other construction difficulties and availability of selected materials. Attends and participates in pre bid conferences to orient and inform bidders as to features, requirements, and special conditions. Reviews final plans and specifications for construction feasibility and practical accomplishment, and interprets technical portions for other participants. Reviews correspondence and reports on construction status and progress, tests, administration, end contractor's estimates relative to construction of the project and unanticipated contingencies, and makes decisions and/or recommendations relative to most practical methods of accomplishing desired results.
