Computer Systems Engineer

Primary Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot servers, networks, virtualization platforms and IT infrastructure (on-premise and cloud where applicable)
• Monitor system performance, availability and capacity to ensure services meet agreed service levels
• Perform ongoing monitoring of system logs, security alerts and performance metrics, and resolve technical issues proactively
• Participate in capacity planning, system upgrades, infrastructure refresh projects and disaster recovery testing

Security & Backup

• Test, deploy and maintain security patches and updates for operating systems, servers, network devices and critical systems
• Support and maintain IT security practices, including endpoint protection, access control, system hardening and vulnerability remediation
