About the Role
Sportsman Boats is looking for a Composite Infusion Technician who will be responsible for producing 30ft + hulls, decks, and other parts using the INFUSION process with fiberglass and other materials. This is a full-time position. Our production schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m..
What you will do:
+ Working with fiberglass, resin, and other materials, build decks and hulls for 30ft + boats meeting high-quality standards and daily production numbers
+ Inspect, clean, and assemble molds before beginning work
+ Tape off mold areas which are not to be laminated, using cellophane, wax paper, masking tape, or special sprays containing mold-release substances
+ Mix catalysts into resins, and saturate cloth and mats with mixtures, using brushes
+ Install vacuums and feed lines
+ Troubleshoot errors in the infusion process and uncover any possible leaks
+ Properly bag parts
