About the Role

Please note this is a fixed term position for 12 months 

Working hours: 30 hours per week (mainly during the weekdays but with some evening & occasional weekend work in-line with the nature of the role)

We are recruiting for an experienced Community Programme Manager to manage WOKING community centre and develop relevant activities to the centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee the day-to-day operation of the community centres activities. Monitoring, evaluation and develop relevant centre activities, as necessary.
  • Work with the Corps Officer and Leadership Team to support the mission of the Corps by meeting and identifying needs of the local community.
  • Provide on-going pastoral and spiritual support to members of the community and work to further the spiritual mission of the Corps by providing a pathway for people to access and integrate into the Church.
