About the Role
Oxfam-Québec seeks a Communications Advisor for a 12-month assignment based in Ghana or Burkina Faso. Drive effective communications for the Civic Space Knowledge Hub while engaging with diverse stakeholders.
This role requires a creative communicator with a passion for advocacy and civic participation. You will implement communication plans, manage web communities, and support learning processes to enhance Oxfam’s initiatives across Africa. Your expertise will help consolidate participation in the WAF Civic Space Working Group and promote Oxfam’s values through impactful outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop internal communications plans for the Knowledge Hub
• Manage web communities with engaging content
• Maintain membership lists for recruitment and outreach
• Support the production of learning materials
• Coordinate advocacy events and campaigns
