About the Role

This role will support the expansion of UVA Health's Specialty Home Infusion program, advising on clinical models to support patients and providers in non-oncology specialties (e.g., neurology, genetics, gastroenterology, rheumatology, dermatology, pulmonology, transplant, etc.).

These roles are responsible for the administration, preparation, dispensing, and management of medications and other health products to ensure safe and effective patient care.

These roles are responsible for dispensing medications, providing drug therapy consultations, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. Pharmacists collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment plans, offer medication counseling, and oversee the preparation and distribution of medications in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
