:Clinical Data Abstractor

Abstracts and analyzes clinical information and data from patients’ medical records to assess performance in relation to defined criteria for Core Measures, NSQIP, and/or other disease states. Keeps data entry current, complete, and accurate to meet data submission deadlines, which are established by internal expectations and external regulations. Responsible for the validity, reliability, and rapid access of abstracted clinical data. Assists with other data entry as needed. Maintains information system security and patient confidentiality. Performs related responsibilities as required and directed. Under direct supervision of the Quality Outcomes Improvement Director, the Clinical Data Abstractor will be responsible for assigned shifts.
