About the Role

Driver Hire Colchester are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver.

We are seeking an experienced and dependable HGV Class 1 driver to work within a busy pallet network operation based in the Colchester area.


Job Details:

  • Pay rate: £17.37 per hour

  • Full load deliveries

  • Monday to Friday work

  • Start times may vary

  • Immediate start available

    • The Role:

  • Completing full load trunking and pallet network deliveries

  • Ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently

  • Carrying out vehicle checks and maintaining accurate paperwork

  • Adhering to all driving and working time regulations

    • Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

  • CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card

  • Previous pallet network or trunking experience preferred

  • Strong understanding of driver hours and regulations
