Claims Ajuster, Casualty and Litigation (Commercial Insurance) (Quebec City)

Overview

As a Claims Adjuster you will work within the Casualty and Litigation team, handling a variety of claims across lines such as Auto, CGL, Directors and Officers, and Professional Liability. You will investigate, assess coverage liability, and coordinate with third parties and counsel to bring claims to resolution while maintaining an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate intermediate to complex claims, including those in litigation
• Confirm coverage and complete liability investigations
• Prepare file summaries for internal reporting, large loss, and reinsurance purposes
• Manage a busy day‑to‑day schedule effectively
• Provide a superior customer experience

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary education in an insurance‑focused or related program
• Minimum of 3 years of liability claim handling experience
