Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: To serve as a general Structural Engineer and Project Engineer. Responsibilities As Structural Engineer, responsibilities shall include the design and technical review of structural systems related to Civil Works and Military projects as assigned. As Project Engineer, provides leadership and serves as the principle point of contact for design teams within the Engineering Division for assigned projects or at assigned installations from design startup through construction. Structural Engineer performs blast analysis in accordance with UFC 4-010-01 DoD Minimum Antiterrorism Standards for Buildings and progressive collapse analysis in accordance with UFC 4-023-03 Design of Buildings to Resist Progressive Collapse.
