Chief Legal Advisor & Regulatory Counsel

Maritime NZ is seeking a Chief Legal Advisor to lead the Legal Services function, delivering high‑quality legal advice that supports our regulatory approach. You will provide strategic counsel to the Director and Authority while collaborating across the organisation to strengthen decision‑making and build capability.

You’ll lead a high‑performing team, manage people, workflow, budget and performance, and maintain strong external engagement with Crown Law and external counsel.
