Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer of chemical compounds for the manufacturing and compounding of plastic resins. This company has operations in the U.S, Europe and Asia. They are currently adding a Chemical Process Engineer to their team. In this role you will be responsible for managing process improvement projects, designing and programing PLC systems, HMI and more.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee new project installations and design.
• Help coordinate preventative maintenance, annual shutdown work, spare part inventories, and Maintenance downtime tracking and reduction.
• Manage and optimize PLC controls and recommend and implement upgrades to improve plant controls.
• Daily tracking of downtime, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
