About the Role

A Chef is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations in a restaurant, hotel, or other establishment. This includes menu planning, food ordering, staff supervision, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Culinary Arts Degree/Diploma from a recognized culinary school.
  • Relevant Work Experience:
    • Minimum 3-5 years of professional cooking experience in a reputable kitchen.
    • Experience in a supervisory role is a strong plus.

Skills

  • Culinary Expertise:
    • Advanced knowledge of cooking techniques (sautéing, grilling, roasting, baking, etc.)
    • Expertise in various cuisines (French, Italian, Asian, etc.)
    • Ability to create and develop new recipes.
