1. Planning menus in consultation with management.
2. Estimating food and labour costs and assisting with budget control.
3. Ordering, receiving and managing food supplies and kitchen inventory.
4. Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation, cooking and presentation.
5. Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen and waiting staff.
