The Certified Nurse Midwife will:
Provide comprehensive prenatal care, including regular check-ups, monitoring the health of both the mother and the developing fetus, conducting ultrasounds, and performing necessary prenatal tests Assist and support women during labor and childbirth Provide care by monitoring the mother's recovery, assessing the newborn's health, and addressing any postpartum concerns Offer routine gynecological care, including annual exams, Pap smears, screenings for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and contraceptive counseling Provide education and counseling on family planning methods, birth control options, and fertility awareness Offer care and support to women during the menopausal transition, addressing symptoms such as hot flashes, mood changes, and hormonal fluctuations Provide emotional support and counseling throughout the pre...
