Category Manager (Cahya Mata Sarawak Management Services Sdn Bhd, Kuching)

Responsibilities

• A category expert to identify market leaders and trends while conducting ongoing research and recommends new and upcoming category initiatives that exceed internal customers’ wants and expectations;
• Must operate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, IT, and other related departments to support bottom-line cost;
• Set and meet KPI objectives and targets for savings, turnaround time and supply security;
• Applies and implements SCM (Supply Chain Management) standards, tools, and processes in a multi-business organization;
• Meet regularly with critical suppliers for discussion on performance, planning, pricing, and future development activities;
• Lead internal cross-functional efforts to identify and quickly implement cost-reduction activities;
