What you will do

• Develop, manage, and execute the category strategy, managing policies, agreements, source catalogs, and special procurement programs.
• Recognize opportunities for cost reduction, inventory reduction, and quality improvement, and ensure soundness of business proposals and risk assessment.
• Act as a liaison between the organization and suppliers to communicate information explicitly while considering production demands and supplier conditions.
• Document supplier performance on time sensitivity and production; maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
