About the Role

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   Complete sales transactions with guests and maintain stock levels in the Gift Shop.  
 Organize and keep the gift shop clean and orderly.  
 Ensure guests have an enjoyable customer‑service experience.  
 Present a friendly, professional image at Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort.  
 Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.  
 Maintain a friendly, professional, courteous atmosphere in the Gift Shop at all times and assist all guests whenever necessary.  
 Ring up sales and maintain an accurate register drawer.  
 Make suggestions for products or additional items.  
 Answer guest questions about product and the property.  
 Keep the Gift Shop clean and orderly.  
 Fill out required paperwork.  
 Assist in periodic inventories.
