Established cardiothoracic surgery program at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia is seeking an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon.
Qualified Candidates:
- Board certified or board eligible
- 5+ year of experience preferred
- Superb communication skills and a passion for program development and collaboration
- Experience and comfort level with heart bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement (including open and endovascular aortic procedures)
- Structural Heart Experience (TAVR, LAAC) preferred
- Minimally invasive lung surgery experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience with advanced technologies to reduce the invasiveness of thoracic and cardiovascular procedures preferred
- Capable of doing complex cases in independent setting
