CAPEX Engineering Lead

Role Purpose

As CAPEX Engineering Lead, you are responsible for the successful delivery of CAPEX projects and overall engineering performance at the Basel site. You provide strategic and operational leadership across engineering activities, ensuring high standards in maintenance and equipment reliability, while aligning EHS priorities in coordination with the Local EHS Lead (who retains full operational responsibility).

This role combines people leadership, project ownership, and hands‑on engineering responsibility in a GMP‑regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an engineering team (approx. 3 direct reports) across mechanical, automation, and utilities
• Adapt team structure and priorities to evolving project and business needs
• Own and deliver CAPEX projects end‑to‑end (URS, vendor management, FAT/SAT, commissioning, qualification)
