Cadet Technician

Responsibilities

• Support the organization's maintenance and operational objectives by executing assigned technical tasks diligently and accurately.
• Contribute to a safe, reliable and efficient metro operation by adhering to approved procedures and standards.
• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities under supervision in accordance with approved maintenance manuals, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Assist in inspections, technical cleaning, testing, fault finding and rectification of rolling stock systems, equipment and components.
• Ensure accurate completion of maintenance records, checklists and defect reports in the maintenance management system.
• Comply with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements while working in depots, workshops and on-site locations.
