An opportunity has emerged for a CAD/CAM Engineer with experience of using Edgecam at a high-tech engineering and manufacturing facility based in Lichfield.
Our client has built a world class reputation for the niche engines ensuring that their product performs in several market sectors including: Aerospace, Marine, Automotive and Power Generation.
Customers range from first tier vehicle manufacturers to high performance niche sports cars and UAVs.
As a CAD/CAM Engineer / Edgecam your role will vary day-to-day.
Primarily it will include:
Running 5-axis Mazak machining centre
Programming CAM software using Edgecam
Manual machining/power tools (for example lathe and surface grinder)
Assisting with building engine and test rigs
